A floral design studio born in Los Angeles in 2021. We buy our flowers at the Los Angeles Flower Market, design every bouquet by hand in four studios and deliver it in packaging people keep.
Our story
TheFlow started in Los Angeles in 2021 with a simple idea: flowers should be as dynamic and creative as the city itself. Not the same dozen roses in cellophane, but bouquets that feel like they were made for one person, on one day.
Our founder, Anita Dudutite, trained at the California School of Floral Design and spent more than 8 years designing flowers for Los Angeles clients before TheFlow. TheFlow opened its first studio in Mar Vista on October 30, 2021. Today a small team of florists works in four studios, in Mar Vista, West Hollywood, Downtown LA and Beverly Hills, and sends same-day flower delivery across Los Angeles.

Our first studio opens in Mar Vista. From day one: bouquets designed by hand, same-day delivery and signature packaging included free.
Studio by studio, TheFlow grows across the city, so every neighborhood has a florist close by.

Our brand
The name comes from the way flowers move: stems that lean towards the light, petals that open a little more every hour. And from Los Angeles, a city that never stays still.
We wanted a mark as calm as a gallery sign: wide, clean capitals with plenty of air between the letters, and Los Angeles set small underneath, because this is where every bouquet is made.

From the market to your door
We buy at the Los Angeles Flower Market, where everyone knows us, and your bouquet reaches you the same day.
Our day starts downtown at the Los Angeles Flower Market. The growers and wholesalers there know us by name, and they know we only take the freshest stems: tight buds, firm heads and clean leaves.
Back in the studio, every stem is cleaned, cut at an angle and rested in fresh water with flower food before it goes into a bouquet.
Each bouquet is designed by hand for a specific order, by one of our florists, and is delivered as pictured on the site.
Delivery windows run 11 AM – 3 PM, 3 PM – 7 PM and 6 PM – 9 PM, across Los Angeles, seven days a week.
Order by noon and your flowers arrive today. Later orders go out the next day; the online shop takes orders around the clock.
Our four studios work Monday to Sunday from 6 AM to 11 PM, and then the buckets get fresh water for tomorrow.

The order was a complicated one, with several different bouquets, and I am quite picky. Still, the sales consultant was extremely competent, sincere, and genuinely kind. Without losing patience, she helped me choose everything and created very beautiful bouquets using fresh flowers. Delivery was on time, all my requests were taken into account, and at my request the delivery window was narrowed. The courier arrived exactly on schedule, warm, smiling, and incredibly friendly.
The most amazing flower shop in LA - my girlfriend sent me a bouquet from here last year that was easily the most beautiful arrangement I’ve ever received (much to my husband’s dismay). I could not stop staring at them! My husband, not to be outdone, then sent me one that lasted a full month - longest any fresh flowers have ever lasted. i ordered a hydrangea for my daughter’s birthday. The operator called back to confirm the color, which i really appreciated. I chose a soft pink shade and ordered courier delivery. you can select the delivery window yourself, mine was from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. there is also an option to choose a greeting card and write your own message, which is very convenient. the bouquet arrived at 11:30 AM right on time. i am happy with everything, both the delivery and the order itself. the flowers were fresh and fragrant.

Officially my new go-to florist! my neighbor recommended TheFlow on Matteson and i've been coming back ever since. the florals here are just on another level compared to anywhere else near Venice Blvd. the vase arrangements especially are stunning - picked one up for a dinner party and everyone was obsessed.
Beautiful fresh tulips, honestly so many arrangements and bouquets to choose from. the vase compositions they have ready to go are really something special. everything looks super well cared for, nothing wilted or sad looking.

Our florists buy flowers early in the morning at the Los Angeles Flower Market downtown, where the growers and wholesalers know us, and choose only the freshest stems.
Yes. Every bouquet comes in our transport box with an aquabox (a disposable vase with water), a TheFlow ribbon and a custom envelope with your card, all free.
